Application Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy

1. Responsible for the App
The Beat It application is developed and maintained by Roman Koch (developer), who is solely responsible for the management and operation of the app. For any inquiries, users can reach out via email at apps@romankoch.online.

2. Object
The Beat It app has been developed to provide users with a fast and user-friendly tool for loggin blood pressure and heart rate. It includes features such as logging blood pressure and heart rate, export reading as pdf or other formats, charts and trends view.

3. Compatible Devices
The Beat It app is currently available exclusively on the Apple App Store for iOS devices. Users must comply with all applicable terms and conditions set by the Apple App Store for downloading, installing, and updating the app.

4. Start
When launching the Beat It app for the first time, users receive access to a Premium Trial Version for a limited period (currently 3 days). During this trial, all premium features are unlocked, allowing users to fully explore the app at no cost. The trial duration may vary based on promotions or future changes to the app.
After the trial ends, the app automatically locks. Users then have the option to purchase a Lifetime Version, which unlocks full access to all features permanently with a one-time payment.
The purchase is made via the Apple App Store using the available payment methods.
All user preferences and configurations can be managed anytime through the in-app settings.

5. Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights
All intellectual and industrial property rights related to the Beat It app are the exclusive property of the developer, Roman Koch, who retains full rights over the exploitation of the app in all its forms, including reproduction, distribution, public communication, and modification.
Any third-party elements used within the app—such as icons, illustrations, or libraries—have been included under the appropriate licenses and authorizations.
The user acknowledges that the following actions are strictly prohibited and constitute a violation of intellectual property rights:
- Copying, altering, distributing, selling, decompiling, or disassembling the app
- Using reverse engineering or other techniques to extract or reconstruct the source code
- Republishing or reusing any components of the app without permission
Users agree to refrain from any actions that could infringe upon the developer’s intellectual property rights or violate the integrity of the app.

6. Privacy Policy
The Beat It app does not collect, store online, or process any personal data. All information stored locally on the user’s device. No data is transmitted to any external server or shared with third parties.
As such, users can enjoy the full functionality of the app without needing to create an account or share personal information. The app operates entirely offline and ensures full privacy.

7. Responsibility
Beat It strives to deliver the best possible experience with a focus on stability, accuracy, and usability. However, the developer assumes no liability for issues outside their reasonable control, including disruptions, errors, or damages caused by technical failures or third-party actions.

7.1 Service Interruptions and Technical Issues
Beat It is not liable for damages resulting from:
- Interruptions, errors, or malfunctions due to unexpected technical problems, maintenance work, or software updates
- Connectivity issues related to network problems, device incompatibility, or Apple App Store service outages
- Temporary unavailability of the app caused by system vulnerabilities or cybersecurity incidents
Users are encouraged to maintain updated device security measures, including antivirus software and regular OS updates, to reduce risks while using the app.

7.2 Third-Party Actions and Misuse of the App
Beat It disclaims responsibility for:
- Unauthorized access or misuse by third parties (e.g., hacking attempts or tampering)
- Any damage caused by improper or unintended use of the app that violates the Terms of Use or general guidelines
Users are expected to use the app in a lawful and respectful manner, in line with its intended purpose.
